Brilliant!!! All set up - decided on getting a power pack similar to the Australians in the end - it comes with a recharging adapter for the car, which very conventiently fits your power socket too - so messing to do at all. Everything seems to be working ok - just need the rain the stop, some light outside and the dogs - then the fun can really begin.
Thanks - really do appreciate the speed in which everything was done - everybody will be so surprised to see them at practice tomorrow - and if the weather is fit we will try them out for real.
Thanks again

Hi Bill,
Jenni sent an email on Tuesday saying that we have received the system. However I don't think you got it. We used it today and it is fantastic!!!! We have a competition in Canberra this weekend, so at training today we were able to fine tune our starts and change overs. As you know we train out doors and it was a very bright sunny day and we could see the light tree and counter fine. Everyone loves it and in we are already discussing a second sytem. So hopefully in a few months we can place another order. Jenny tooks some pictures today so I will ask her to forward them to you.
Once again, thanks for a fantastic system and if you need any references, just let us know.
Cheers and beers

Hi William,
The system was successfully set up on the very first night. We were all so excited that we met at our training facility just to have a look at them (some people even drove from an hour away to see them).
We can't thank-you enough for the work that you did and for keeping us up to date on the progress as you were completing the build. Although we haven't had a lot of time to work with the lights as of yet, we'll be sure to let you know if we have any questions. Sorry we didn't send a note earlier. I think that we were just so excited to actually have the lights, that we forgot to write and let you know how the set up went. It took a LOT of fundraising and teaching classes to raise the funds for the lights but we couldn't be more pleased.
Take care,
Stephanie Macdougall

Update 10/3/2006
Hey Bill,
I just wanted to drop you an e-mail and let you know how things went as far as your lights go at our tournament. They were awesome and such a great investment. Our major team sponsor purchased them for us and they commented on them right away and said how new and professional looking they were. We host a annual tournament the first weekend of October called the Harvest Fling and we ended up having the best one yet. This was our third year hosting it. We ended up with the most teams yet with 21. I'm sure you have seen more than that, but with such a small region and the majority of the teams 4 hours away this is pretty good. We also hosted 4 teams from the Northeastern US which we have not had any teams from the states before.
To top it all off we had the privilege of being filmed for National television. I don't know if you have heard of Top Dogs the t.v. show, it airs on the Outdoor Life Network. Well, they made their first trip to the east coast and filmed out tournament, as well as your lights. They took shots of the lights going through all the different sequences(early start, delays, early pass, etc.). So with your logo so cleverly placed on the tree you should get some free advertising.
Overall good job on designing and making a great product. I would recommend it to anyone. If you wish to use me as a reference I will gladly be one.
Thanks again,
Peter Douthwright

Awesome!!!
Everyone was so impressed, especially me. I did Dog Evaluations and ran individual dog times, and it was so easy. Bill they are excellent and with the remote control I still control everything . This is what its all about, we have jumped into 2005 and we are ready to compete with a competitive edge. As I told you before we have a big club between 4 to 5 teams, and for me to time and train and do everything it was getting to be a nightmare, but now I feel great about it. Don't be surprised if I order another set so I can link the two in a year or so, just for us. I am so happy way to go WATCH DOG.

It went really well. Now all it
will take is some time to get coordinated with the new equipment (how to
store it, how to quickly put it up, how to best record the times, which
outlets to use, getting a better extension cord, etc.). I'm really
pleased with the Watch -Dog equipment, I couldnt' be happier even! Thank
you! You've really spent a lot of time and thought into making this and
it really shows! I'm going to find some sort of foot locker or something
like that to store it all in.
Once again, thank you!

Heat Wave: Arizona Region 6
Wanted to touch base and let you
know that we LOVE our Watchdog system. We have discovered that several
dogs are faster than we thought and others are about what we thought. It
is so great to have the computer timing because it stops those on the
team who would like to argue that their dog was faster than that! It
also frees up a person to call passes and watch for errors. Since we
only have about one extra person if we have a team of four running, this
is very, very nice. And then we get terrific information on starts too!
Our start dog handler has now got his start time down to about .008. We
are just thrilled to death with this. Practice is more like being at a
tournament now with all our fancy stuff! We hope to do much better at
our next tournament due solely to the wonderful feedback of information
we get from the Watchdog. Thanks, thanks, thanks! We get to use it at a
demo for the first time on December 14. We'll be racing all day against
a team from Yuma - On Line K9 - and we can't wait. It will be SO
exciting!

Florida Air Xpress: Florida Region 11
Florida Air Xpress is the proud
owner of one of the first Watchdog EJS Systems. We are pleased with it
and find it a great help in our flyball practices and are looking
forward to using it during local *fun* tourneys. While it will run with
any competent PC, we do recommend it be run with a laptop -- less to set
up and a lot less cumbersome around a flyball lane. The system sets up
easily and delivers results !! Barbara Craig Florida Air Xpress I do
have a big brag to tell you about. The week our watch dog arrived
Florida Air Xpress went to the Tournament (The Fly Ball) in Raleigh, NC
hosted by DoGoneFast. Our best time of the weekend was a 23.15 but we
were not consistent. We were thrilled just to get qualifying races since
our prior Tourney had been dismal with us earning 12 pts one day and 3
pts the other. We came home and started to practice with the Watch Dog.
We video taped and analyzed. We had a play day with the system. We used
the system to help decide what time to send in to seed us in an upcoming
Tourney. This past weekend we competed in the Tropic 2002 in West Palm
Beach, FL hosted by Waverunners. We actually broke out twice at 21.6!!!
We consistently ran 22.0!! Our team earned over a 1000 points in the
weekend with more 25 pt runs than we have ever had in our teams'
history. We won division 2 both days!!! All the team members worked
hard, and we got wonderful advice from many experienced people but the
credit must go to Watch Dog. We are looking forward to going even faster
and "Running with the Big Dogs" in Division 1!!!
Thank you for
developing Watch Dog!!

High Plains Drifters: Missouri Region 4
Our team - High Plains Drifters - uses the Watchdog system at our
practice facility. It's an amazing tool for learning to start and pass
accurately and is a tremendous help in calculating seed times.
Like the NAFA systems, Watchdog shows your start lag, each dog's split
and the total time. It flags or rather, "red lights" false starts and
early passes. It shows you exactly how early a false start is, but
can't tell you anything about the timing of the other passes other than
whether they were early or not (you still need a human pass caller).
My BC frequently runs in the start position, and having the Watchdog
system to practice with has been a big advantage for me; I'm used to
running with lights, and so is my dog. In fact, he's so used to
starting on the first amber that his send command has become pretty much
superfluous. I ask Zane if he's ready, he looks to the lights and with
the first amber, he's GONE, whether I yell "Get it!" or not.

Some Ruff Competition: Region 2

an important part in allowing us to fine-tune our exchanges, eliminate

their exchanges.

Some Ruff
Competition is very pleased with the Watchdog system and have been using
it since the spring of 2002. William has been excellent in listening to
our request for subtle changes to his software and getting back to us
quickly with those changes. As a software developer myself, I know the
value of good customer support and William is excellent in his delivery
and follow up of changes. It's good to know that he is there for us
