KARYL HUNTLEY
has had careers in high school teaching,
college publishing, and New Thought Ministry. She is
currently the senior minister of the Golden Gate
Center for Spiritual Living, A Science of Mind Center,
in Corte Madera, California. She is the author of the
book, Real Life Rituals, a book of sacred ceremonies
for many of life’s experiences and transitions. She
has created rituals in sacred, educational, community,
and family settings for decades. |

MICHAEL SULLIVAN (MA, LPC)
is a Holistic Counselor in
private practice in Petoskey, Michigan. He is
passionate about health, nature, and drumming. Through
Solitude in the Wilderness, Michael believes that we
can be re-ignited and restored to Life. |
GAIL WILLENS
worked for many years as a registered
nurse in critical care. Most recently she has studied herbalism in the Wise Woman tradition, and has crafted
personal and small group rituals for women. "I believe
our hearts open to a deep and ancient knowing when we
bring ourselves to wild places. The land teaches us in
language beyond words if we can only stop...and
breathe...and listen..." |

SEAMUS MULLIN-NORGAARD (MS)
has a degree in environmental studies and
is a peacemaker and life coach, writer and history
professor who has lived and studied with native
peoples of Ireland and the American West. He is a
carrier of the Celtic Spirit and the originator of the
new shamanic movement meditations "Celtic Body
Prayers." During the summers, Seamus welcomes folks out
to Tara’s Meadow Retreat Center near the warm shores
of Irish-settled Beaver Island in north Lake Michigan. He
resides, October through April, on the mainland, at the
School-on-the-Hill near historic Wolverine, Michigan |
SALLY WAGONER
is an herbalist, nurse, massage therapist and
Plant spirit medicine practitioner with decades of experience in the
healing arts. As a healer and teacher she has worked extensively with
Native American communities and natural environments in the Great Lakes
region. Sally will share her love and familiarity with the island, along
with her great spirit of sensitivity, balance, and humor during our
Beaver Island adventures. |
