Overview:
This is a 3.2L1998 Chrysler Concorde Lx. The body of the vehicle
is in good condition. This car must have been driven mainly on the
highway by the previous owner, as there are several small stone chips
on the hood. They are very small and are not very noticeable.
You can't even see them in the pictures below. The interior is like
brand new. There are no stains or burns, etc anywhere. The
engine and trunk are also very clean. There is absolutely no rust on
the body or even under the car. This is a very clean car. The
engine sounds and runs great. The transmission shifts smooth and tight.

The
car is in very good condition and car has 85k miles. I bought is
with a blown 2.7L engine and upgraded the engine with a 3.2L with 48k miles
on it. I didn't see any reason
to install the same engine that's trouble-prone when I could solve the problem
for good.
DO NOT BUY A 2.7L CONCORDE OR INTREPID!!!
(my opinion)
The 2.7L engine that was produced and installed into 1998 vehicles
and up, have had two big issues. First, the engine has a tendency to collect
sludge, which blocks oil passages and ends in engine failure. Second,
the timing chain has a tendency to start slapping around, breaks plastic
guides, and eventually it breaks apart through the valve cover, also
resulting in engine failure.
Why you should know this:
These engines have high rates of failures. A used 2.7L engine
goes for greater than $3000 (no labor) because of high demand.
The 3.2L engine, although a diehard engine, has almost no demand and,
therefore, is much cheaper at around $1000. Infact, this is how
I ended up with this car. Just do some internet research and see
for yourself. Check out these links that states replacement of the 2.7L
engine is about $6500+:

Don’t let this scare you. The 3.2L engine is a problem-free engine
that doesn’t have these problems. Infact, it is a different block, altogether.
