The e-mail message that was sent to you by SurveyShare because this option was selected when you confirmed the survey's 'Expiration Date'. I couldn't find your contact information in the SurveyShare database. If you are not the owner of the survey data, there is a limit to how much support I can offer without the consent of the SurveyShare member who owns the survey.

Yes. At the current time, all SurveyShare questions, including the 'short text answer' question types are optional for the respondent. You can include each of those as a short text answer question
Incidentally, The ability to make a survey question 'required to answer' in under development. We expect to have this feature available to you in March, 2005.
