Our Mission Statement
Chapski & Chapski, CPAs, LLP, is a local forensic accounting firm in the metropolitan Detroit area. Our firm specializes in litigation support and expert witness services for attorneys and royalty auditing services for franchise companies.
We have provided litigation support services in 239 cases involving fraud examinations, contract damage calculations, business valuations for divorce proceedings, lost wages valuations for wrongful discharges, and estate tax preparation for decedents and bankruptcies. We have conducted 189 royalty audits of franchisees in industries covering retail, restaurant, residential and commercial service, and automotive service. We have uncovered $2.7 million of underreported royalties and advertising fees and our fees have been reimbursable over 75 percent of the time.
