Ah yes, it appears that The Milton has returned. I will now be speaking in third-person for the rest of our journey, only because it sounds that much cooler. Now prepare to witness the similarities and differences, of Stuart, and his father, Eric. Right... NOW!

  Eric  Stuart
Musical Preferences

Lynard Skynard, Tom Petty, The Replacements, Beatles, Rolling Stones

Jethro Tull, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Donovan, Flogging Molly

Educational Expectations after high school

Play in a band, but his position at a printing company forced him to think about college.

Attend an upper-tier school for Bachelor's and Master's degrees

Role expectations for marriage

Traditional

Traditional

Having children?

Not on the mind at the time.

I would say yes.

Number of kids? Not on the mind at the time.

3 or 4

Child raising? Not on the mind at the time.

Like how I was raised, liberal and with plenty of room for free expression.

Expectations for child at adulthood? Not on the mind at the time.

Try your hardest to be your best.

Life goals?

Graduate college.

Travel the world, either through work or leisure time.

Career oppertunities?

Advertising agencies, which worked out, because that's where he's at now.

Right now? I could go and work for Curriculum Mapper... but that's about it. After college though, possibly the State Department.

Saving and Earning money

Didn't really think about saving, just making it, and paying back the student loans.

I mostly spend what I make.

Historical Events

1982 Recession

September 11 attacks, War on Terror

Expectations from religion

At 18, he was a non-attending Catholic, so not much.

I never really got into the whole religion thing.

Regrets?  Wouldn't have smoked, would have studied harder in high school, and wished he had learned to play the piano

Nothing big, I'm pretty satisfied with my life right now.

Well isn't this interesting... Stuart seems to be even more conservative than his father at this age. The only areas that the two are similar in are the role expectations after marriage, and religion.  Music, though, is also very analogous, not because it is the same type (unless the Beatles had a thug phase I am not aware of), but due to the fact that both of their music selections were not the standard types for the times. Their differences, though? Wow. Its almost as if Eric has been raising Stuart to think more for the future, which was something that he seemingly failed to do as a young adult. It's definitely evident in Stuart's thoughts on his parenthood to come, of which Eric pondered nothing of. Speaking of which, The Milton thinks The Milton hears him coming in order to talk about his plans for the future. The Milton had better leave because when The Milton was gone before The Milton stole $40 of his and spent it all on chalupas at Taco Bell.
