| 1918 Warrenton/Wilson School History is Now
Online! |
|
| Iin the summer of 2007, we received the
donation of the history of Warrenton/Wilson School and Warren Township,
a school project from 1918, in celebration of Illinois' centennial.
Through the generosity of a donation from Florence Dart, the Lake
County Discovery Museum has digitized the entire 150-page
handwritten
book, and it is now freely available for viewing on the internet. See
the entire book online now at the Digital
Past web site.
The Wilson school was in the vicinity of Fountain Square (Lakehurst), on the north side of Belvidere Road. |
