NANA MAW
DECEMBER 25, 1923-MARCH 30,2001 6:37 a.m.
Nana was a Chocktaw and a true warrior
for all of our people in Indian Country.
She never stopped fighting for us, and she was always there
to provide comfort and support for any who needed her.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Soar with the eagles, Nana.
 
 
 
CHAZ COCHINAY
APRIL 1, 1949-FEBRUARY 26, 2001 11:31 p.m.
Coch, as his friends and family called him,was an Apache warrior.
He dedicated his life to helping our people and was a true warrior
who never gave up the fight. Coch was a real man. He knew when to be
strong and when to be gentle. Coch was honest and loving.
Our spirits will be joined forever and he lives in my heart.
 
 
FLORENCE WHITEMAN
July 17, 1926-April 22,2001
Northern Cheyenne member of  the Elk Scrapers, a Cheyenne warrior society;
mother of two sons and seven daughters;
Sun Dance Priestess;
