temporary home page of the USS Casimir Pulaski reunion. I will try to update this web page as often as possible
with news and information about the reunion that is in the planning stages and other
Casimir Pulaski related news as it becomes available.
After searching for several years looking for my
old shipmates and hoping to find that a reunion is scheduled, I decided that if one was
going to happen, I may as well get the ball rolling.
I served as a gold crew Missile Tech from
December of 75 through May of 80. When the internet really took off, I started my
quest to locate shipmates. While I located guys that served on the CP, guys from my
time on the boat were difficult to locate. Eventually, they started showing
up. Once contact was made, the memories started flowing and the talk of a reunion
began to become more intense. It became even more interesting when I overheard a
contractor at the office making plans for a reunion. He caught my attention when he
mentioned to a person on the phone that he needed an extra room at the hotel for a place
to display the submarine memorabilia. After talking to him about the reunion they
were planning, (discovering that he was an FTB on SSBN658) and the fun they had at the
previous reunion I was excited. After the his reunion was over, he offered his
guidance and the information he had gathered and lessons learned.
