Recommended Books
As you all know, you get my book when you take my class. However, there are several soap and toiletry books on the market. They aren't all good, and there are a lot out there that just re-hash the same old information, then spice it up with pretty photos. The only books I recommend to my students are books that I have bought and used for my own research.

Dr. Bob's Book
Essentially Soap

I use it and I recommend it. There are more soaping books popping up every day, but this one is 100% accurate. Dr. Bob knows his chemistry and shares information gleaned from his years in the commercial soap industry. He has his name on quite a few patents and is a first class chemist. .I've gone through three copies and I wouldn't be without it.

Dr. Bob is a great guy, and he is always willing to share information and answer questions. They have his book on sale at Amazon and I have also seen it at Pat Catans. Click on the picture to go to the Amazon page.
