Later in Marseille we saw one of their shops.  Pussy is a legit line of clothing.

Provencal textiles are everywhere in Provence.  The designs came originally from India in the 17th century.  The locals learned how to do the prints and used colours taken from Provencal plants:  typically yellow, green and blue with flowers and olives.  I tried to use these for webpage backgrounds, but even when they are lightened, it is difficult to read the text.
