February 9, 2006, 7:30pm: A reading with Gina Frangello and Cris Mazza at Women & Children First at 5233 N. Clark Street in Chicago, 773-769-9299. Gina and Cris both have new novels out from Chiasmus Press and are both contributors to the new Soft Skull Press anthology Homewreckers: An Adultery Reader. Gina will be reading from her novel My Sister's Continent and Cris will be reading from her story in Homewreckers.

February 12, 2006, 8-9pm CST, Donna Seaman interviews Gina on WLUW's program Open Books (www.wluw.org), broadcasting at FM 88.7 in north Chicago and through their internet site everywhere else!

February 16, 2006, 7:30pm Gina will be reading with Kathryn Davis and George Elliott Clarke at the Bookslut reading series at the Hopleaf, 5148 N Clark St., Second Floor, Chicago, IL

February 17, 2006, 7:30pm at Powell's Books in Portland. Since Gina is so close to her due date, Lidia Yuknavitch, editor of Chiasmus Press, will be reading from My Sister's Continent, accompanied by other Chiasmus authors Lance Olsen and Ralph Berry.

Saturday, March 11, 2006, 2:00-2:45PM (as part of the AWP Conference in Austin, Texas). AWP location: Bookfair Amphitheater. "Undoing the Novel," with Chiasmus authors Gina Frangello, Cris Mazza and Ralph Berry. As one of the Northwest's gutsey, noisey, lively, and unflinching independent presses, Chiasmus Press highlights fiction writing which pushes the edges of form, content, and genre.
