The Coffeehouse Series at the MO

Each academic year the Musical Offering opens its doors most Sunday afternoons for its Coffeehouse Series.  Events include faculty & student recitals, student workshops & musicianship classes and special guest presentations.

Coffeehouses are a key ingredient of the MO’s mission of creating community through shared musical experiences.  It is a wonderful way for students and faculty to collaborate by applying the skills and knowledge gained in private lessons in a class or performance setting.

MO students are required to attend at least one faculty recital per session and are encouraged to attend a minimum of three Coffeehouse events per session.

All faculty recitals and guest presentations are free of charge and open to the public (donations are gladly accepted).
